Red chillis

Harvesting our crop of red chillies in November was an odd experience. Then i remembered why. They spent their growing life in the warmth of the conservatory only to be moved out doors in September to ripen (go red). Of course many a gale and rain we have had since leaving the tall but fruit laden bushes bare of leaves. Time then to pick the fruit.
