Lighting up the sky

Want to church with my lively friend Arpna this morning and possibly volunteered for some Christmas singing.
Cooked a roast chicken with all the trimmings before popping over to see Ted & Jan, FK's surrogate grandparents. Cathy was there too and we all chatted together for a couple of hours. Both the girls were unable to have children, so FK is their nearest thing. There is a love between them that's just as strong as blood relatives.
Home so he could continue with his work and MrK and I went to see the light display the Club had put on for diwali that had been requested by customers hiring the pavilion. Plenty of fireworks filled the sky too. Pretty...but such a waste of money!! What's the equivalent of 'bah humbug' for fireworks night?
