Pond life

It’s been a glorious day, wall to wall sunshine. I had a band rehearsal this morning while Susan went to see her mum. This afternoon we did a few last jobs in the garden before travelling on Thursday. I helped deal with the cutting as Susan did most of the pruning as I’m still protecting my back!

We had some very upsetting news about one of our band members who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has very little time left. Even though we knew he was ill, had lost weight and feared the worst it still came as a mighty shock. He’s a lovely, quiet spoken, gentle man and a talented musician.
