Obsessed…

… with autumn colours. I’ve always liked autumn tones but this year I can’t get enough of them. My knitting is pumpkin coloured, I’ve had a chair reupholstered in vintage rusty orange, I’ve got a new Roman blind that’s a kind of spicy orange etc and this Boston ivy on a wall near my house is a winner every year, but 2023 is quite special. The colours have been slow to emerge and they’re intense after all the recent rain. Today has been sunny and gorgeous. I’d planned to spend the day in the garden but a friend phoned first thing this morning suggesting a coffee date so I took that instead.
