Another Walk on the Chase

I'd swum first thing and then did a couple of hours office work so that I'm ready for more water sampling this week.

L came back from the gym early as the weather was bright and sunny, suggesting we had a walk.  It seemed a great idea, only slightly less so when it started to rain as we were heading up onto the Chase.  Thankfully it was a passing shower and our walk was dry (it rained as we drove back home).

L doesn't like to walk on the Chase where she would normally ride so we headed into the centre of the area, walking towards the north.  The colours were still stunning and the only thing I wish we could have had was some mist to help simplify the scenes we saw.  Still it's always a pleasure to be walking through scenery like this.  Funnily enough, this is another part of Marquis Drive, but two and a half miles from yesterday's photograph.
