In the morning we went to a fabulous craft fair of local artists. I bought a lovely pair of silver earrings from Elaine .
We then went to New Abbey and walked the circular path to Airds Point . The view out to the Solway was wonderful . On the way back I had a nasty fall and cut my right hand on the gravel when I was protecting myself from falling on my face. Unfortunately we still had a 50 minute walk ahead of us , and then a drive home.
Picking the grit out of my hand was an especially unpleasant experience:-( .
