Mono Monday

Thank you for your generous sprinklings of likes and hearts for yesterdays blip, it was a lovely day and hard to bottle in one photo, so apologies to those not keen on collages.

Today I put myself into mon moods, checked the topic - street scene which was perfect as I went into town today.  However struggled a bit with the high key part.  Using an app, I think I’ve managed to fit the brief, or done my best.

Boys to school this morning then went into town to collect an order.  Met up with my sister for a coffee and then we both went on to the card shop - Christmas cards purchased, so can tick that off the list now.  We then went our separate ways, mine home for lunch.  

Just before going into a meeting at 2pm, I viewed an email that made me “have steam out of my ears”!  Since 13 October I have been communicating with someone with regards to hiring a hall, on a particular evening of the week but only once a month (2nd Thursday of the month).  We even went to see it last week and spoke at the committee meeting last week and all agreed to go ahead.  The email said “I am really sorry but Thursday evenings between 7pm and 9pm are booked already.”  I was seething to say the least.  Managed a quick reply starting with … I am very disappointed ….. she did respond again and apologise.  Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Good lace class tonight, I’m SO nearly finished on my piece.
