Waxwing

At last the waxwings were closer to home.Infact they were in the tops of the trees near the house. I could hear their distinctive call and watched them flying up to catch flies. Managed to get a few photos but even though it was sunny the lighting was not great.
Fiona the sheep has made it safely to Dalscone.Her arrival was delayed after Animal rights protesters turned up at the Farm. Although it was ‘peaceful’ it’s still really intimidating and not knowing what they had planned must have been really scary. Fortunately they moved on fairly quickly so the farm could get back to their jobs and looking after the animals.
Cammy has sheared her with hand shears and she must be feeling much better after 10kg of wool was removed.
No improvement in Mike’s Dads health. Colin sent us a photo and he looks so ill and incredibly thin. They called the doctor and he is now in hospital. His chest is ‘rattling’ so he’s been sent down for a scan.
