Sunflower.
Heading home. We woke to a dry pleasant day, wonderful, packing up and readying the caravan for towing is always easier in the dry. We were ready to move slightly earlier than the deadline we set ourselves. Wonders never cease! The trip up the M6 was easy and for once no great congestion probably because it was Sunday morning.
As we were unloading I spotted this Sunflower as I walked past a container on the drive. Obviously not something we had planted. Coal Tits are known to take food from feeders and hide it. Sunflower seeds are a favourite, presumably because of their size and hard shell. These would make them a worthwhile "cargo". This one has managed to grow to two feet high and produce this little flower.
