Early buzzard

Went out early while the frost was still on the ground.  With that and the sun it was incredibly beautiful. In the reserve the buzzard was sitting on the lookout tree as you can see.  Here it's about to fly off - they're very conscious of being watched, I find.

I'm posting early while I have the chance because the rest of the day's going to be busy with ordinary stuff.  But I did want to say a big thank you for all your lovely kind wishes yesterday.  And yes, I did sleep very well thank you ;))
