Owl's Delight

Her Owlness didn't honor us with a visit this morning, to my disappointment. I did find this sweet froggie trying to stay, I guess, just below her radar. He is a Southern Leopard Frog and shares the pond with American Bullfrogs and Southern Toads so you might imagine the 'chorus' of a summer night!

With our recent rains and summer weather the explosion of the frog population in the pond has summoned the usual predators; hawks, serpents and owls of course.
