Birthday boy

It’s Mr PHL’s birthday today so we’re going to treat ourselves to a curry for dinner in the restaurant we ate in last Tuesday. Miss PHL is en route to the house to join us.

Spent a good hour this morning trying to book our trip to Palma Nova in April. Decided to check out the hotel we’d chosen one last time and realised the pool was pretty small but it didn’t take long to find an alternative which has bigger rooms (one bed suites) instead of studios for only a few pounds more so that’s what we’ve booked.

A lovely autumnal walk at Newbattle before a late lunch of an air fryer cheese toastie. Very crispy and oh so gooey, it was delicious.

A quick trot along the railway path to the field just as it got dark and home to blip.
