Wheal Betsy
It's been a rainbowy sort of day, lovely sunshine and sudden heavy showers. I decided to take a trip across the moor to Wheal Betsy engine house at Mary Tavy, near Tavistock. In 1967 it was acquired by the National Trust as a memorial to the mining industry of Dartmoor. I believe it's the last one standing in Dartmoor and I don't know of any others in Devon.
I've been here once before but I'd forgotten about it until I saw a picture recently. I took photos with my camera and with the drone and my main blip is an aerial shot. I've also added an extra which is from my regular camera.
