A word to the wise….

….or something like that.

When Anna and I met with the Chaplain who was going to conduct our mam’s funeral we had a conversation with him about shoes. It was metaphorical really. It was something along the lines of……if you like the shoes, buy the shoes…..but most importantly, wear the shoes.

Anna and I are similar in that we have both worked from a young age, worked hard, we worry about money, and we go without. Anna has been struggling with a failing boiler for a long time, so I was pleased to hear today that she was investing in a new one. “Wear the shoes” is her mantra for 2024!
