And then it rained

The day started lovely, sunny dry and not too cold. Unfortunately we had to go shopping, we like to get off early on main grocery shop days, spent a fortune as usual although I did double up on a few bits as they were on discount.
Got home about 10.30 had a coffee then off to the woods with Tanzy The sun was shining on the lovely Autumn Leaves and I was going to take some lovely Autumn pics, it started spitting no problem, Then the sky's opened and it rained... no it was a deluge.... we were soaked to the skin by the time we got back to the car.   I did however manage just the one shot. and we had a lot of laughs well what else can you do but laugh in such a situation, We also remembered other times in our hiking days when it rained. One in particular when it rained really heavy and we sat in a little garden in Heptonstall outside a fish and chip shop eating Chips with our Ham sandwiches soaked through. Those were the days, wish I could still do it.

So a bit tired this afternoon, not done much. Off to the dentist tomorrow  ugg. filling come out.
