Carnage
It's supposed to be Bike Polo but in practice it was more like Bicycle Rollerball. Good fun though.
It was part of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling that's on for the next week. It was held at the Jack Cane Centre in Niddrie, which meant that there was the obligatory small child there throwing big stones through the open door at the cyclists and then running off shouting "Feckin' gayboys" whenever they tried to chase him.
On the other side of the gym was the Extreme Unicycling and Joe passed a very happy few hours getting to grips with the one wheel mode of transport.
On the way back home he reminded me to slow down as we have eight 10 year old girls in for a sleepover. True enough the noise could be heard from the moment we came into the street.
I've been up since 6am working on a document for a client and managed to squeeze a run out on the bike too so I doubt even the noise coming from the front room will keep me awake.
