Eider and Eiderlings

There are several groups of recently fledged eider chicks around in the West Voe of Sumburgh at the moment.

This female was trying to marshall a group of five chicks - I finally managed to get a shot when three of the five were above water and more or less facing me (and not too far from the waters edge).
