Catch the egg!

After a busy morning of swimming, chicken cleaning, rock school and shopping we went to Hadstock village fete for an hour. It is a proper and good village fete (something we don't seem to be able to manage here). Alas it chucked it down so we did not hang around, however Alf and Louis did break the record for the 'chucking an egg at your friend and see if they can catch it' game. Well for five minutes. I think Stan trumped them later.

Anyway here is Alf in full protective gear, moments later his friend Ethan decided to forgo it and ended up covered in egg!

Then home, H has got a new glue gun and is being Mrs Crafty in preparation for the Flower Festival here next week.

Pete popped over with his new guitar, it is a Taylor (Bill also has a Taylor) and it is very, very good. I have deep guitar envy! We ran through a few things for the Flower Festival and Hendstock. All very good fun.
