Butterfly chase

This Common Blue has a wing span of 32mm, so with his wings folded, he is no bigger than my thumb nail. It took some chasing and kneeling in the wet grass, but eventually it settled on a head of Ribwort Plantain and posed for me. The upper side of the male are really blue, but the underside is even more interesting. Hello Mr Common Blue !
