Whispering grasses?

I often wait in my car outside the hospital for my twice-weekly treatment slot. It’s preferable to the disinfected odour and fairly grim sights inside! But they’ve made an effort to introduce some greenery around the grounds, and I wonder if they hope the slightly hypnotic effects of swaying golden grasses will calm patients? (Who am I kidding?!!)
