Another glorious day

I set off via Reid’s to ask for details of the Flute concert next week. 

They often have chamber music for which you used to be able to purchase a ticket for €20 which included a drink. Knowing the prices at Reid’s this always seemed far too good to be true. Well, it seems they’ve realised for they’ve dropped the price to €15 with no drink. 

We will still go, and linger over a stunning cocktail with canapés and watch the sun go down from their terrace.

I headed off towards the Forum and walked along the top road to see how the Savoy apartments are coming along. They’re not too horrendous, but I still miss those lovely allotments that were destroyed for this development. 

A quick trip into Pingo Doce before heading for the Magic Tearoom and then in the garden through the secret door (thank you blippers for showing me.) After that, along that wonderful coastal path - so beautiful and such colours (my blip).

It’s hot today and I was really flagging. Thank goodness for the number 2 bus (and maybe another swim.)
