Above Watendlath

First thing, relying on the weather forecast, we drove south from a fairly sunny Keswick to Elterwater, where the forecast was good. On driving over Red Bank, the Langdales and Lingmoor Fell (our planned destination) couldn't be seen through the thick cloud and heavy rain. So we returned home and parked at Rosthwaite.

Walked up to Watendlath and over to Great Crag (near Dock Tarn). The ground was really boggy, and although we had intended to do Grange Fell as well, we thought it best to leave it for another day. As the afternoon progressed it got wetter and wetter. Just leaving Great Crag, we were treated to this lovely rainbow arcing over a tree.

133/214 Wainwright's now completed.
