Any Old Iron

A day off work again to sort out more of the bungalow. So we headed over there and cracked on with some more clearing out of everything .
I had contacted a scrap man to come and collect a load of scrap metal an old mower and a few other bits I have got all piled up awaiting collection. 
so I decided to grab a shot of it all and colour pop an old metal doorstop . I chased the scrap man up late morning and he replied saying he had a problem with his van so wouldn't make it today so it will have to wait until next week. At least it gave me a blip.
After having more of a good sort out we decided to call it a day and decided to load up the car with a couple of nice  leather  swivel chairs that we are going to make use of at home. we could only fit one in at a time so 2 journeys had to be made . Minstrel has took a shine to them already and thinks they are expensive scratching posts 

That wasn't the end of the days events as after getting home on the 2nd journey via dropping of a few charity shop bits , we had got the chairs in place when Julie realised she couldn't find her phone so a trip back to Metheringham to see if it had got left over there no sign of it.  So back home a call to arrange a replacement sim so that she can use it temporarily  in an old phone. Later on Julie realised her credit card was in the phone case  so got onto Tesco bank who told her the card had been used quite a few times making some large purchases which they then started declining as it was a few thousand pounds over several transactions . They are going to investigate and obviously they will refund Julie's card  so it looks like she must have dropped her phone in the street and some opportunist found it.
Trying to relax now  partly spent watching Man U throw away a lead in  the champions League
