2023 Monday — Going North; Going Home.

Finally! We received the “okay” from his cardiologist today for Mr. Fun to leave the area. We packed the car In lightning speed and rolled out of the driveway at 1:30. A bit later than we like, but we did not find ourselves in gridlocked traffic anywhere during the journey.

We arrived at the Cayucos house after darkness was complete at 6:06 and after stopping twice quickly — once in Calabasas and once in Buellton. I drove till Buellton and Mr. Fun drove the final 70 minutes to home.

We were weary and delighted to be off the road and home. The pups were thrilled too.
