Buttercups …..

….. ….. ….. and Coronet Peak.

I loved the fields of buttercups! A strange day weather-wise, with chilly wind & clouds, and then full-on hot sun, and back again.

I managed to winkle an old man sorrel plant out of my planter vegetable garden, using a long tree planting spade. What a mission! Was stoked when it was done.

Craft Group happened in the Lodge and then Missy and I walked along Lake Hayes, in chilly strong wind and sunshine. It’s lovely how I often meet visitors to the Whakatipu Basin along the tracks and end up having a great chat. I bumped into two visitors from Western Australia today and we must have chatted for a good 15 minutes.
