Got up early as the tiler was coming at 8.15. He arrived but as it was drizzling only stayed to look at the tiles and agree exactly what he was going to do. Weather permitting he will be back tomorrow. Went to upholstery as usual , though left a bit early as I had reached a sensible place to stop. Had a quick lunch when i got home and took this photo from my bedroom window- the acer started to turn red overnight. Drove over to Mansfield , collected Dad and drove to the hospital. He went to visit his friend J who had just been told that she needs a complete hip replacement- it will be done tomorrow. I visited C who is better then last week and has had the feeding tube removed. She needs to get a big stronger and then they will move her to the community hospital where she will get more concentrated physiotherapy. She is hoping to be home for Christmas but home adaptations will need to be done first. After 30 mins or so I went to collect Dad from J’s ward and we went back to see C for another 40 minutes. Went out for an early dinner and Dad let slip that he is on antibiotics for yet another urine infection. Am hoping they will zap it. Slowish journey home
