Print print print

This evening I went on the search for two photos: one that was taken when I was a teenager, back in the film days; and one that was taken within the past 10 years, when I was at Uni. The old photo was easy to find - I lifted out my photo albums, flicked through a couple, and found it within minutes. The newer photo, unfortunately, is nowhere to be found. I remember taking it with my first digital camera, but it never got printed. It was pre-facebook, so I had no luck there. I checked my old laptop, and the even older laptop, but I have a feeling it's on the long-gone laptop before that!

I'm sad that there's a part of my life where the photos have totally disappeared, and others that exist only on facebook (for as long as that lasts) because the originals are lost.

All of the photos in this blip were taken within about 6 months of each other, around my 18th birthday, exactly 10 years ago. I have four full albums of photos from that year! Apart from a couple of photobooth printouts, I have absolutely no physical prints to remember 2013 by, almost nothing to smile and laugh at when I look back in 10/20/30 years time. That has to change!
