Welcome back

The Christchurch City Council provides bins for all properties. Red for rubbish, yellow for recycling and green for organics. Two weeks ago when I last mowed the lawns at our student flat I noticed that one of our two yellow bins was missing. Today, somewhat miraculously, it was back. Bins regularly go missing in student streets and the council need to know the serial numbers in order to make a claim for a new one. Hence, my rather boring photo  showing the serial number. The bins actually have RFID tags (the yellow dot) so that the collection truck can identify if they belong to the correct property. I would assume that whoever uplifted the bin had their collection rejected so they have returned it.
