Well even with windscreen cover on the policy the Bank Balance will be reduced by £140.00 later today and all because a stone chipped the very top left hand corner which couldn’t be chip repaired. The ADAS camera also means a 50 mile round trip to a fitting centre as the camera needs recalibrating and that can only be done at a fitting centre in Cardiff, and the estimated time for replacement is 4 hours.
Addition:- well back from windscreen fitters and they had sent the incorrect screen, luckily they found out before the removed the old one, so by the time we found out we had ordered a very and I mean very expensive burger in a place called “Five Guys Burgers and Fries” on Newport Road Cardiff £37.65 to be precise but it was absolutely pouring with rain so not a lot of of choice. All apologies will get the right one in an make a new appointment, when we don’t know, so much for “ National Windscreens” the preferred choice of our Insurer, how ever good the job is now it will have left a bad taste. “Rant Over”
