Kindness Meter

Parking throughout our large municipality is free. There are no parking meters anywhere. Our council wants to encourage people to support local businesses.

This ‘retired’ parking meter is outside our municipal hall and people are encouraged to put in their spare change to support local charities.

Even the meter seems to smile about its new role.
