Lily

With few chores and no shopping to do, Mum and I headed for Coolings Nursery, which is celebrating its centenary this year, and is probably one of the best garden centres in the area for plants. We both came away having spent more money than we should have!

I chose these lilies for their colour, and to replace the ones I lost in this winter :(

Following a short sharp shower, I used a focus stack to try to keep the whole flowerhead in focus, while leaving a blurry background. I used 8 photos at 1/60 f5.6 and the freeware software, CombineZP, to merge them. Apart from a bit of movement in one of the petals, it has achieved what I wanted.
