Meadow Pipit

Those of you that have been watich Springwatch will have recognised this little fella immediately. Delighted to get a quick snap of him just in front of the nest on this morning's run - rare to see as the camouflage is so good. These are the main food for the kestrels on the moor and sure enough we saw one hovering not long after. Breezy, but bright with great skys all around and just managed to get back to the car before the heaven's opened - a few pics of our magnificent moors if you have time : )
