Temporary Clearing under the Sycamore

Rain for the first few hours of the morning. Eventually it clears just after 11, as do most of the clouds. November has seen a hastening of leaf drop. A new clearing in the woods today. In the spring and early summer, it is an area where birdsong could be heard for the first part of the day. The sycamore has shed all of its leaves and now sunlight reaches the woodland floor.

Another after work walk to Braidburn Valley Park, initially in very light rain.  and the approaching clouds meant it got dark earlier than anticipated. Most of the colour has gone.
