Planting seeds

I read somewhere that if you want to scatter some seeds singularly put a a single seed in each ice cube slot, fill with water and freeze over night. When we were last in Lyme Regis there was a house that always has lovely hollyhocks outside it. There was a basket of seeds and donations could be made to the RNLI. We made a donation and today I’ve thrown ice hexagons around the garden. We shall see if they grow.

I saw Nigel briefly at lunch time as he’d picked up the rest of the timber for the weekend.
