The Official Winter Soup Season started today. You saw it here first. 

These things are strictly personal of course, so I get to decide when it starts. The good news is this Italian lentil soup is absolutely delicious. 

The downside is it will be difficult to keep that standard going. It will be a nice wee challenge. 

The only preparation is chopping an onion, some carrots and some celery, so it is easy too. Here is a link to the recipe . 

Apart from making soup, in the morning I had to spend some time on various bits of tedious desk work and I was not able to take advantage of another sunny day. Tomorrow should be better.
