Autumnal Softness

Lots of things ticked off my 'to do' list today except I forgot to make my husband a birthday cake! His birthday is not until Saturday but he is going away for the weekend with his climbing club for some hill walking, so I need to get the cake done today for him to take with him tomorrow!!

I have been out all evening at a camera club competition against another club (we won) so, now I'm home, I'm baking the cake. I'll have to be up early to finish it off!!

I nipped out into the garden earlier when there was a bit of sun with one of my velvet lenses. I do so love the soft effect.
