Minehead Youth Hostel

A very pretty Hostel set in lovely grounds in the middle of the forest just outside minehead. The road down to it was very bad as it was just a cart track into the woods my sister was worried about damaging her car but as long as we went steady and were in before dark so we could see the pot holes we were ok. We had a very enjoyable stay here for 5 nights and met some interesting people including a family from Switzerland, a lovely chap from Adelaide who was travelling around from Kent where he had relatives to Lands End before returning to Aus in 4 weeks time there was even a lady on her own from Tazmania who was walking carrying all her baggage and hoping to do as much of the South West Coast Path as possible and she was not a youngster.
