What's in a name anyway?
On the way in this morning, sitting at a long line of cars waiting to turn left from Golden Ears Way onto the Lougheed Hwy, I saw my blip for the day. The mountains are called "The Golden Ears" after the two bumps that reminded someone of ears.
But, is that correct?
After reading this, I think the original name is more reflective of reality based on the number of Golden Eagles that are seen round here. But perhaps the old name doesn't lend itself to being pronounced properly.
The rest of the day was mine. Acupuncture, doctors appointment for a renewal prescription, and then yet another Covid shot. The sixth one if memory serves.
Ah well...
