St Christopher’s Place
There was also a company all hands meeting. Given the international nature of the business the meeting is held twice to accommodate all the timezones and both of them seem to fall in my working day - one in the late morning and one at the end of the day. I opted to join the first one. I am still getting to grips with all the product names and the wide range of things the company does.
After work we were meeting P&W at The Zetter Townhouse in Marylebone for a cocktail. It’s described as, “a plush property featuring an opulent cocktail lounge”. It’s also a hotel so we were sat in the bar for the guests which also seems to be the reception. It was quite a small lounge; we had the sofa and some chairs. PY and I opted to stick with the wine we ordered when we arrived, as we were first, but the others went for a cocktail. They looked great but the service was a bit slow.
Then it was to Côte Brasserie at St Christopher’s Place for another lovely meal. The restaurant was quite quiet this evening. The service was good and they were very attentive with the list of allergens in the food so P could make sure it worked for him.
It’s quite noticeable that Christmas is coming to Central London as the decoration either go up or start being illuminated. I am not sure if the pictured ones are really for Christmas or if they are always here but I took a picture of them anyway.
