Alice in Wonderland (1966)

I think I might have seen this when it first came out, but at the age of 12, I probably didn’t know what to make of it. Only the other day, I bought this DVD. It seems to be of of its time - Alice pouring unknown concoctions down her throat, having no idea what they are or what they do. This Alice is very beautiful, but she looks and sounds completely bored most of the time, like a hippy child who ga gone to Woodstock and found it wanting. Her hair is amazing, like an advert for Harmony hairspray. It’s nicely filmed but it would have been better in colour. Extras: none. Special effects: none.
