The homemade ad

Homemade ads are generally placed in local shop windows and are for tradesmen and miscellaneous items for sale. I once came across a lonely hearts ad in the shop window of a local newsagent. It was quite the saddest such ad I'd ever seen, an older man looking for a 'holiday companion' for a week in Blackpool, the main selling point that he would pay her 'in expenses and stuff'.

I found this homemade ad today on Twitter. Lost pet ads are kinda sad too - I guess this owner just didn't look far enough.
