winching!

Quite the spectacle today as the builders rigged up a winch and pulley system and expertly lifted the bath. Billy was relieved to get the job done and proclaimed that he didn’t know any other local builders who would be mad enough to do this. He also accepted it really is a beautiful bath. I enjoyed listening to them all pondering whether they might be able to take it in turns to come round and take a dip! Such nice guys and most accommodating.

Today also involved toasting like a crazy lady for toastie Friday at school, collecting tiles, birthday prep (for lovely Lydia who turns 16 imminently) and swimming lessons for Isaac.

Gratefuls:

1. Health and safety - it’s amazing having skilled builders who know how to keep their team safe;
2. Isaac ending his week at school happily - phew;
3. Ant doing a tip run.
