Portsmouth

We spent the morning in the flat doing more cleaning and we put the TV up and connected the Apple TV to it and to our nice new internet. All this seems to work very well and we will be able to work once we have the desks and chairs delivered.  We spent the early part of the afternoon in Ryde running some smaller errands. I’ve been making a point of getting to the sea to look at the view every time we are here. You can see Portsmouth in the distance.

In the afternoon we went into Newport to look at things in Dunelm where we thought we might get some curtains that didn’t smell of smoke and maybe some other things.  We managed to get a couple but I am not at all sure we have the right things. Given the sizes, we thought we would get away with a single curtain across the windows in the living room but it looks very odd and I don’t think it works. PY disagrees and thinks it’s fine. We will see how this plays out.

Tonight it was a microwave dinner thanks to some of the things we picked up in Morrisons on the way back.
