Shaun the Sheep's new friend
These pictures tell a story.
Top left: the young master crawls over to Shaun the Sheep and gives him a kiss.
Bottom left: he strokes Shaun the Sheep gently.
Right: he's about to plant another kiss on Shaun, when the sheep topples over. The young master looks most concerned and almost tearful until Granny says Shaun's lying down to have his tummy tickled. We then both tickle Shaun's tummy and the young master joins in Shaun's giggles.
This was during a flying visit...
Today I'd been planning to go shopping with Mrs B and the young master, while little Miss B was at school. However, I simply didn't feel well enough, what with my cold and my painful shoulder and neck muscles. So, instead, Mr PP went with her, wheeling the little boy around, and enabling Mrs B to concentrate on shopping for his birthday next week.
It was Gramps's turn to experience the shopping public, especially the elderly - men as much as women - collapsing in heaps as they passed the pushchair and melted at the sight of the huge smile, big eyes and waving arms of the young master, as he greets the world and his wife like long lost friends!
Meanwhile, at home, I tried to avoid sitting too long as I know from past experience that that is about the worst thing you can do for backs, so I did household tasks at a gentle pace and avoided lifting where possible. Daughter and grandson called in on their way home just to say, Hello! It was lovely to see them, even briefly.
