Al Seef by Night

I got to choose the destination when we headed out after a full day in the "office" for me! I looked at Googlemaps for traffic and chose Al Seef. With it being Diwali weekend, all travel has to be planned carefully.

We set out, and all looked good until we hit a queue, which took nearly fifteen minutes. Argh. We are finally coming into some decent weather. Tonight, it wasn't hot, cold or humid. It was just right! Any thoughts of eating when we got back home went out the window. We found a newly opened restaurant that specialises in falafel. They've been going for a week!

We got on with our walk. I switched the camera setting to Manual and seemed to get better results than yesterday. The big tonight was spotting the Costa coffee bean logo on a wall, then looking up to see a sign confirming that a Costa outlet will soon be available in Al Seef. Woo hoo! That will be our new coffee stop at the end of any future walks with Diane.

And in the morning, G busied herself tidying up the kitchen while I got on with my office work. It's been a good day.
