We have had a busy afternoon in the kitchen peeling, chopping and stewing all the apples from our tree. They are now in the freezer and will keep us going over the winter.

The extra is a bouquet of letterbox flowers which our daughter sent us for looking after our two granddaughters overnight in London last weekend. I only received them late yesterday afternoon, but they are already starting to open up.
