Bus Pass Walk

Backblip.  5 BPWs took 3 buses to Hebden Bridge this morning.  I thought the autumn colours in HB would be good and wasn't disappointed. First stop as always was the station cafe - good coffee and homemade cakes, although I had a gingerbread man and ate him from the legs up, haha! We then walked along the river and back along the canal. The weather was fine until we had nearly reached the town centre and we got  quite a heavy shower of rain.  We chose a new to us cafe for lunch and it seemed to have a Turkish/Middle Eastern influence.  We all had something different - I had a Turkish Breakfast which was like Shakshuka and very tasty.  For some reason all the meals came with a huge pile of chips!  Far too many for any of us, but certainly good value meals. We only had a short wait for the bus back over the moors and then the K4 back to the village connected quite well.  A few more in extras.
