Thermal Inversion

The day started frosty, crisp, and clear, but soon trundled downhill to rain, wind, dark, and dismal.  I was hoping to get some outdoor photos after a walk with a friend, but by then it was raining and appreciably colder than when we'd started.  So I came home and fell back on the 'photos out the window' standby.
