A smokin’ lesson!

Year 8s had a lesson about smoking today. Hopefully I’ve completely put them off doing that but even if not, it looks like the government is going to change the law soon so that they’ll never be able to (legally) buy cigarettes anyway.

It’s not really any good showing them things like this ‘tar jar’, as they’re all at the age where they think they’re invincible and immortal. Instead, we do the maths and make a list of all the better things they could spend several thousand pounds a year on.
