The Cenotaph this afternoon

Since taking this photo I have just read that an exclusion zone has now been set up around the Cenotaph.

I have also read that The Big Issue has commissioned a photo of King Charles to be on its cover to mark the King’s 75th birthday next week.

Photos and words are a vital part in making us all think what we can do about homelessness and all the other challenges here in the U.K. and around the world. But we all need to do so much more.

We were privileged to visit London this week but among so many amazing memories made over the last 3 days the one that I cannot forget is the line of small tents in front of Heal’s opulent Christmas window displays. Each contained a homeless human It was cold. And raining. As we walked home to our hotel bed from a delicious Soho restaurant meal these small tents were getting colder and colder.

As we walked by Heal’s this morning there was nothing at all to indicate what we had witnessed last night.
